The Fox Cities are officially a Well City! To become a Well City USA, as designated by the Wellness Council of America (WELCOA), at least 20% of a community’s workforce must work at a company with a wellness program that has earned a WELCOA Well Workplace Award.
McClone played a vital role in the success of Well City Fox Cities (WCFC). The initiative started in 2009, when our Vice President of Operations, Barbara Van Gorp, learned about Well Milwaukee and kicked off the idea in the Fox Valley. In addition, Barbara served as President of the WCFC Executive Committee. I have also been honored to be a part of the WCFC Advisory Board for four years.
Last but certainly not least, McClone achieved a gold Well Workplace award in 2012. We are proud to be among 36 local employers who achieved an award, representing over 30,000 employees in the Fox Cities and allowing WELCOA to proclaim the Fox Cities a Well City USA on October 29, 2013!
